Job description
Sutton’s | Springfield, Illinois
Industry: Home Exteriors & Remodeling
Founded in 1946, Sutton’s is a family-owned and operated home improvement company serving Central Illinois. In 2026, we are proud to celebrate our 80th anniversary — eight decades of helping homeowners improve, protect, and enjoy their homes.
Sutton’s has built its reputation on quality products, professional installation, exceptional craftsmanship, and standing behind the work we do. As we continue to grow, we are looking for experienced siding installers — both individuals and established siding crews — who share those standards.
Position Overview
Sutton’s is seeking experienced Siding Installers and Siding Installation Crews for residential exterior remodeling projects throughout Springfield and Central Illinois.
We are interested in hearing from experienced individuals looking to join our installation team as well as established trade partners/subcontractor crews interested in working with Sutton’s.
Our installers are a critical part of the customer experience. The job isn't simply putting siding on a house. Our customers are making a significant investment in their homes, and we expect every Sutton’s project to reflect the quality, professionalism, and attention to detail that have helped us remain in business for 80 years.
Responsibilities
Professionally install residential siding systems according to manufacturer specifications and Sutton’s quality standards.
Properly install trim, soffit, fascia, flashing and other related exterior components as required by the project.
Ensure siding is properly measured, aligned, secured and finished for long-term durability, weather protection and curb appeal.
Identify and appropriately address installation challenges or underlying conditions encountered during the project.
Protect the homeowner's property and maintain a clean, organized and safe jobsite throughout installation.
Follow applicable safety procedures, manufacturer installation requirements and building standards.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners, project managers and other Sutton’s team members.
Work efficiently to meet project schedules without sacrificing workmanship or attention to detail.
Complete final jobsite cleanup and help ensure the finished project meets Sutton’s standards and the homeowner's expectations.
Why Sutton’s?
Sutton’s isn't a new company trying to establish itself in the market. We've been serving Central Illinois since 1946. Our installers and trade partners have the opportunity to work with an established local company backed by eight decades of experience, a strong reputation, quality products, professional project management and a continuing pipeline of home improvement projects.
If you're an experienced siding installer — or have an established siding crew — and take pride in doing the job right, we'd like to hear from you.
